This website describes driveway culvert installation, replacement, repair, and related excavation work, and it gives you a way to request contact from a local, licensed, and insured contractor. Read all of it as general guidance. That includes price ranges, pipe sizes, cover depths, and any description of how permits work. None of it binds anybody to a price, none of it is engineering advice, and none of it is legal advice. Your entrance gets a number once somebody has walked your ditch.

Permit requirements, pipe sizing, and right-of-way rules are set by the road authority that maintains your road, which may be a county, a special road district, a city, or the state. That authority decides, not this website. Questions about property lines, easements, drainage rights, or insurance belong with your county road office, your surveyor, your insurance agent, or your own attorney.
